Looking at the bridge

So the first step in this creative journey is to really focus on what the
bridge looks like.  Over the next few weeks, I'm going to take pictures of the bridge, from different perspectives, in different weather conditions and at different times of day.

This first one was taken from the hill just behind Hillend,  I think it gives a good idea of how the shape still dominates even with the new bridge rising behind it.

This next one was taken at night and is the only bit of the bridge you can see from the house.  Although the picture is not really sharp enough, I do like how the colour has shifted to orange rather than red and the restricted angle.

These next few were taken on a walk on a cloudy day.  I like the mix of greens and blues and variation in textures from leaves, grass, clouds and paths that the bridge is set against.

The next few are the bridge in its entirety to help see the full shape of each section.  There are some beautiful curves as well as straight lines within each part.

These final few focus on particular aspects of the bridge.  I like the variety of shapes  and the colour mixes from the green trees and the stone work.
